We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
We wanted to thank you, your staff and a most special thank you to Blaire.
From the moment we met with you we knew that our Mom and our family would be in good hands. What we didn’t expect or was pleasantly surprised by the extra attention and care that Blaire would take of us. She went above and beyond on every little detail. She was incredibly patient with us, all of our questions, requests and always there for us during this most trying and sad time. What really made us feel so happy and relieved was how much care she took with our Mom and how she made her look absolutely beautiful for her final rest.
On the day of the funeral, you, Blaire and your staff made our Mom’s service, travel to the Cape and dedication perfect and effortless. Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to all of you.
Yours faithfully, Kim and Meredith Waite
My Son-in-law’s funeral was held here. Andrea and Jesse did an outstanding job working with our family, and especially my daughter, from start to finish during this painful and confusing time. They are knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. Ten steps above!
Andrea and her staff are amazing! They took such great care when my grandmother passed away that I knew that it was worth the 1/2 trip to specifically have PLAINVILLE FUNERAL HOME and staff care for my husband when he passed. They are easily accessible and there are prompt with replies to emails, phone calls and texts. The way that conversation is worded, such as "When John is in our care" shows that they really do have true compassion for everyone that walks through the door.
They give great advice during what it generally a truly confusing time and try their best to make everything personalized and not "cookie cutter".
They are the ones that our family feels comfortable turning to during such a difficult time.
I wanted to take a moment to show our appreciation & gratitude to Plainville Funeral Home & a long time friend of mine & my sister, owner Andrea DiGiacomo Wasley. It all started with a very early morning message from me to her : "Our mom passed away, help me, I don't know what to do" She did just that and honestly I didn't worry about one thing as I knew with how Andrea was & has always been, she had this all in her hands. Words can't thank you enough for the smoothest process of working us through our moms services. To put it bluntly, she pretty much did it all. She asked us a few things and for a few things and that was it, she took over from there. I've never had to interact with Andrea in the manner I had to last friday, hopefully I won't again anytime again soon, but if I had to, I trust her with everything I have, even my life....literally. Our mom didn't look too well the past 11.5 months because of her health. Andrea turned her back into the beautiful woman she always was before she got sick so her family & friends could say their last goodbyes the way she would want to be remembered. Our mom was definitely smiling down on us that night and still is. We picked up mom today, now she is back home with dad where she would want to be. She's also back home with all her grandkids as they each all received a mini urn with some of their grammas ashes. Andrea loved filling all those! 😉
Andrea, you are amazing, you're incredible & we thank you so much for all you have done for our family. And for the hundreth time (lol), I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished building your own funeral home. It's beautiful, it truly has the instant vibe of love as soon as you walk through those front doors. ❤️
It’s never easy loosing a love one but Andrea and her staff go above and beyond. Her and her staff feel like they are part of your family and help in any and every way possible. Thank you for everything you did for my Grandma her obituary was beyond perfect and everything was exactly what she would have wanted. 💙
I would like to thank Andrea for taking care of my husband, Joseph Fama’s military funeral arrangements. She went above and beyond what I expected. I would also like to thank Jesse for his words at the service. Everything was beautiful. Thank you all very much. The Fama Family
Plainville Funeral Home's personalized services allowed us the ability to honor my grandmother in a way that was as unique and as special as she was. I want to thank you Andrea for the incredible services that you provided for my family. Your professionalism, caring and attention to detail were amazing and far exceeded our expectations. You and your staff should be very proud of the work that you do...you are what other funeral homes should aspire to be.
Having Andrea and her staff take care of my mom’s arrangements made the whole process less stressful and burden free. Her knowledge and compassion are second to none. I have lived in Plainville all my life, and dealing with someone who is from here, and has made a huge investment to remain here, is also comforting. Andrea cares about people and their feelings.
When our family was faced with tragedy there was no question on where we would go. Andrea treats you like family and goes above and beyond to help lessen the burden. She brought us comfort in one of the toughest times in our lives. We will forever be grateful for her genuine kindness. The world needs more people like Andrea, our community is lucky to have her. Plainville Funeral Home is a beautiful facility ran by a wonderful person.
I was recently faced with the worst day of my life, losing my mom and best friend to cancer at age 66. My mom was full of life, an avid gardener, birdwatcher and passionate about nature and being outdoors. Having never had to plan a funeral before I did not know what to expect, I just knew I wanted it to honor my mother's personality and life. I immediately knew I could not have her services at any funeral home, it needed to reflect her, it needed to be bright, clean, airy, peaceful and happy. I had driven past Plainville Funeral Home many times since it had opened admiring the beauty of the building, landscaping and ease of parking. When my mom passed, I knew that was where I would want to bring her, I knew that is what she deserved. Upon walking into the building I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and peace. It is not your traditional antiquated funeral home, dark and depressing, but rather peaceful and inviting. It is a place intended to provide a sense of calm, comfort and serenity for families to gather to pay respects to their loved ones. Upon meeting with Andrea it made perfect sense this was her passion and vision for her business. She was professional and compassionate, she took her time with us and had a genuine interest in getting to know my mom and how we could make her funeral radiate her personality. I had very specific nontraditional requests for a destination funeral in a garden for my mother. I wanted her funeral to be where she loved to be most. Andrea took note of all my desires, assuring me she would make all the necessary arrangements to make my moms service as I visioned. At the conclusion of our meeting, although my heart still heavy with sorrow, I had an overwhelming sense of peace knowing my precious mom was in Andrea's care and that her arrangements would be as beautiful as she was. The communication with Andrea and her partner Jesse on the days leading up to my moms funeral were unsurpassed. Every detail was carefully executed, leaving me no worry or stress. Her funeral was perfect, the details, the garden and even a surprise of the release of white doves. I know my mom must have felt like royalty as she smiled down from Heaven. Andrea and Jesse are the best in the business and my mother's services reflected their care, professionalism and competence. Andrea and Jesse made the last gift I was able to give my amazing mother one that honored her life. Although I hope to not have to lose another loved one, I am at peace knowing when it does happen that I have Andrea and Jesse to hold my hand.
