William J. Fabrizio, Jr., 72, of Newington, formerly of Plainville, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Village Green of Bristol after a year-long battle with colon cancer.

Born on October 23, 1948, he was one of three children to the late William and June (Aldrich) Fabrizio, Sr. A USMC Veteran of the Vietnam War, Bill was an avid reader and devout follower of modified stock car and NASCAR racing.

Bill leaves his sister, Angela Fabrizio and her husband, Ken Hart of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; his niece Karla (Ron) Fraser of Leesburg, VA; his nephews, Antony (Kim) Fabrizio of Bristol and Jason Fabrizio of New London and William (Sandra) Fabrizio of Bristol; one uncle and numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Suzanne Fabrizio.

Bills family will celebrate his life with private funeral services. He will be laid to rest next to his parents at Oak Hill Cemetery in Southington.
