Walter Nicholas Zenick, 81, of Farmington, beloved husband of Janet (Mikolaitis) Zenick, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Born in Hartford on July 13, 1940, Walter proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years and was honorably discharged in 1962. He was a lineman for Northeast Utilities, from where he retired after 34 years of dedicated employment.
In addition to his wife, Janet, he leaves his children, Tracey Van Hoof and her husband James of Jupiter, FL; Mark Zenick of Simsbury, and John Zenick and his wife Kelli of South Lake, TX; and his grandchildren, Andrew Van Hoof, Ashley Van Hoof, John Walter Zenick, Drew Zenick, Jake Zenick, Katherine Zenick, William Zenick, and Theodore Zenick. He also leaves his sister, Alice Zenick of Wethersfield; his brothers, Richard Zenick and his wife Ruth of Davenport, FL and Anthony Novak and his wife Laureen of Hebron, CT; along with many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., meeting directly at St. Patrick Church, 110 Main St. Farmington.
