Theodore (Ted) W. Osak, Jr

Theodore W. Osak, Jr, 72 of Plainville, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Ted or Teddy as he was known to most, was born on January 22, 1950, one of four children to the late Theodore Osak, Sr and Joan (Mikulak) Osak.  Raised and educated in Plainville, he was a 1968 graduate of Plainville High School, and enjoyed getting together with his classmates each summer.  He retired after more than 20 dedicated years of hard work from Jacob’s Vehicle Systems in Bloomfield.  Known for his love of motorcycle riding and road trips, on two wheels or four, he traveled cross country on his bike more than once and enjoyed hopping in the car on a whim and taking in the scenery.   He had a love for the outdoors, especially camping, and meeting his friends for a round of golf or game of bowling.  Above all, he was devoted family man; a loving father and Papa who will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his children, Adam Osak, his wife Danielle and his children, Keilen, Hannah and Kiera; Sherri Nuzzo and her husband Tom; and Mary-Kathryn Osak, her partner Joe Davis and their daughter, Charlotte; his former wife, Donna Osak and her daughters, Dawn Blanchette and Barbara Williams; his brother, Rick Osak and his wife Carrie; his sisters, Cathy Mastroianni and Terese Drouin and her husband Ronald; along with many nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends that he created along his many travels.
