Randall LaBelle Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Randall Lee “Randy” LaBelle, loving father and grandfather, 71, of Plainville. Randy passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 with family by his side.

Randy was born on October 28, 1949 in Saint Albans, Vermont, son to the late Francis N. and Shirley J. (Brown) LaBelle. He was a longtime resident of Plainville and worked as an autobody technician alongside his son, Ryan. Randy found his passion in autobody work as he enjoyed tinkering with cars and he was an extremely hard, dedicated worker. If you left it up to Randy, he would work all day, every day. Randy was a fan of Tom Brady, supporting the Patriots and his most recent endeavors with Tampa Bay. He enjoyed watching the races and playing a good round of pool. In his former years, he was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a bit disappointed when he could no longer ride, but maintained adoration for motorcycles. Randy was a selfless man, with a heart of gold. He made sure to provide for his family and would never say no or turn his back on them if they needed anything. Randy, a devoted and loving father, grandfather and friend, will be missed deeply by all that knew him as they cherish their memories with Randy in their hearts.

To mourn his loss, Randy leaves behind his daughter, Brandy LaBelle, of Plainville, his son, Ryan LaBelle, of Plainville, his step-son, Donald Wanzer, of Bristol; his grandsons, Alex Biron and his girlfriend, Tianna Olivia, and Anthony Thibault; his granddaughters, Jaylee Thibault and Savannah Wanzer; his sisters, Alicia (LaBelle) Perry and her husband, Jackson, and Elaine Mahon; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He also leaves behind his fury grand pup, Jax.

Family and friends are welcome to gather in celebration of Randy’s life on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville. Randy was a simple man and to honor that, please come dressed casually to the gathering, following social distance guidelines and wearing masks.
