Michael Zmijewski

Michael Zmijewski, 49, of Bristol, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. 

Born in New Britain on July 6, 1970, was one of two sons to Thomas and Christine (Pawlukiewicz) Zmijewski of Plainville.  Raised and educated in Plainville, he was a 1988 graduate of Plainville High School.  Michael had a love for the outdoors and found peace in being surrounded by nature, going camping and fishing.  A sports enthusiast, especially football, he was a fan of the NY Giants. Remembered for his vibrant personality, his presence brought life to every occasion.  He is now free from life’s pain and uncertainties and leaves many cherished memories of happier times.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his pride and joy, his children, Justin Zmijewski of New Jersey, Sierra Davis and her husband, Patrick of GA, and Hailey Zmijewski of Plainville; his grandchildren, Gavin and Logan Zmijewski and Tyler, Emma, Hunter and Everly Davis; his brother, David Zmijewski, his wife, Sherry and their children, Marc and Ashley.   He was predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Schola Pawlukiewicz and Stanley and Eunice Zmijewski.

Michael’s family will celebrate his life with private funeral services.  The staff at Plainville Funeral Home extends their gratitude to the Zmijewski family for their trust.
