Maryange (Veilleux) Boilard

Maryange (Veilleux) Boilard, 89, of Plainville, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Hospital of Central CT in Southington surrounded by her devoted family. She is now reunited with her loving husband Marcel R.J. Boilard. Together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage.

Maryange was born in Williamstown, Vermont one of twelve children to the late Charles and Florence (Rancourt) Veilleux. She was a resident of Plainville for many years and a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church, where she formerly served on the Ladies Guild. In addition, Maryange was a member of the Saint Anthony’s Society. Maryange was a talented acrylic painter and enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. A woman full of faith, love and devotion, Maryange will be missed by her loved ones as they forever cherish the memories they have shared over the years.

Maryange is survived by her children, Suzanne Skrzypek and her husband Paul of South Carolina, Robert Boilard and his wife Lisa of Plainville, JoAnn Robideau and her husband Brian of Bristol, Roxanne Moore and her husband David of Plainville and Lisa Soucie and her late husband Wayne of Bristol; her grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Justin, Crystal, Andrew, Shawn, Jacob, Sarah, Jessie, and Brianna; her great-grandchildren, Bella, Skylar, Ethan, Christian, Jaden, Nolan, Joziah, Brooke, Tianna, Nora, and Logan; her brother, Wilfred Veilleux; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Alice Moore and her 10 siblings.

Funeral services in celebration of Maryange’s life will be held on Friday, January 14 beginning at 9:00 a.m. from the Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad Street, Plainville to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 94 Broad Street, Plainville for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plainville Senior Center, 200 East St., Plainville, CT 06062.
