Ernest P. Yersavich, 63, of Bristol, formerly of Plainville, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Touchpoints in Farmington, following a brief illness.
Born in New Britain on June 11, 1957, he was one of four children to the late Joseph and Margaret (Tranter) Yersavich. Ernie, as he was known to many, was a lifelong resident of Plainville and attended local schools. A man with multiple talents, including technology and mechanics, Ernie was proud of the many Volkswagons he owned and worked on over the years. He was a kid at heart with many hobbies, and fulfilled his love for remote controls cars and toys working at a local hobby shop for the past few years. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness and caring personality.
He leaves his devoted fiancée, Melissa Lozewski; his brother, Peter Yersavich; his Uncle Al Yersavich, his Aunt Bertha Yersavich and his cousins, Ann, Carol, Kathy and Patty Yersavich; along with his nieces, Margaret and Angela and his great nephew, Tyler. He was predeceased by his brother, John Yersavich and his sister Susan Teodoro.
A graveside service in celebration of Ernie’s life will be held in the spring at St. Joseph Cemetery in Plainville. For online expressions of sympathy, please visit www.PlainvilleFuneralHome.com
