Elizabeth Ann (Genova) Granger

Elizabeth Ann (Genova) Granger, 56 of Plainville, formerly of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Born in Hartford on October 26, 1964, she was the first born of two daughters to Joseph Genova of Vernon and the late Patricia (Corraro) Genova.  Raised and educated in Newington, Beth attended Wheaton College and was a 1989 graduate of UCONN Law School alongside her current husband Greg.  Reunited after more than thirty years, they shared a special bond for the last twelve and were married in 2019.  Beth worked as an attorney for the State of Connecticut in the Legislative Office Building, with ambitions to open a private practice with Greg in the future.  A kindhearted and loving daughter, wife and sister, she will be fondly remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory of Plainville; her father Joseph Genova and his partner, Phyllis Saccoccia of Vernon; her sister, Joanne Carman and her husband Richard; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
