Donna Marie (Bentley) Dupont

Donna Marie (Bentley) Dupont, 74, of Plainville, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, following a five year illness that she faced with much strength and dignity.

Born in Holyoke, MA on April 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Henrietta (Barron) Bentley.

She was educated in Holyoke, and settled in Plainville over forty years ago, where she raised her daughter, and beamed with pride while witnessing two more generations of her family grow.  Donna retired from Creed Monarch in New Britain, where she leaves many dear friends.

Traveling with the girls on trips to Florida, Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, and upstate New York were occasions that she looked forward to.  At home, she enjoyed playing cards, and gardening with her daughter, watching their flowers and plants thrive.  A loving GiGi to her twin great-grandchildren, Logan and Lianna, they brightened her days and brought her much joy.  Remembered for her kindheartedness and energetic spirit, she will be missed dearly, leaving many cherished memories.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Thibeault of Plainville; her grandsons, Matthew Thibeault of Plainville and Shawn Thibeault, his wife, Nichole and their children Logan and Lianna of Southington; and many friends, including her best friend of nearly 50 years, Louanna Desmarais of Bristol; and her very special caregiver, Thelma Louis.
