Thomas Soucie Obituary

Thomas Michael Soucie, 57, of Plainville, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Born on June 10, 1962 and raised in New Britain, he was one of two children to Roger Soucie of Plainville and the late Rose (Moccio) Soucie.  Tommy was a 1981 graduate of Plainville High School, where he excelled in wrestling and enlisted in the US Army shortly after graduation, proudly serving his country. He returned to his hometown upon being honorably discharged, where he raised his family and was a dedicated coach and volunteer for the Plainville Little League.   A motorcycle enthusiast, Tommy found great joy in riding his Harley, and participating in countless charity rides throughout the state.  He enjoyed antiquing later in life, and was happiest when he was surrounded by his adored family.  He will be missed beyond words, and remembered for his passion for life, sense of humor and love for his family.

In addition to his father, Roger, he leaves his children, Chase Soucie and Alicia Marquis, and their mother, Kim Soucie; his sister, Christine Soucie and her children, Justin, Jacqueline, and Stephanie Green and their families; along with many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, Tommy may be remembered with contributions to www.DreamRide.org
