Robert Vincent Dagata, Jr., 53, of Plainville, passed away with his family by his side after a brief illness on December 13, 2018 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.

Born in New Britain he was one of two children to Suzanne (Lech) Dagata of Plainville and the late Robert Vincent Dagata, Sr. He attended local schools and was employed for over 25 years for Shaw’s until 10 years ago.

Rob was a child at heart, who enjoyed games of all kinds, including lottery and video games, watching movies, especially Star Wars, and reading. He was a car enthusiast, with his many muscle cars being his prized possessions. A kind and quiet man, he will be missed for his caring personality.

In addition to his mother, Suzanne, he leaves his son, Vincenzo Dagata of Bristol, his sister, Debbie Ettorre and her husband, Joe and their sons, Anthony and Mathew.

Rob’s family will be honoring his wishes and celebrating his life privately.
