Kenneth R. LeBrun, 29, of Vernon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Born in Hartford on March 2, 1989, he was the son of Raymond LeBrun of Southington and the late Kaye (Benson) LeBrun. Raised and educated in East Hartford, he went on to attend Howard Cheney Technical High School. Kenny enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, proudly serving his country for over eight years, with tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed country music and going to country concerts, and could be found many days strolling around Vernon in a cowboy hat and boots. Remembered for his kindheartedness, Kenny was a good and reliable friend to many who will be sorely missed.
In addition to his father, Raymond, he leaves his sisters, Amanda and Lindsay LeBrun, a large extended family, a wide circle of friends throughout the world, and his adored cat, “Red”.
Family and friends may gather in celebration of Kenny’s life on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St, Plainville from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be shared at 12:00 p.m., followed by military honors. He will be laid to rest in the spring at the State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown.
